Course Description
This practical and highly-interactive course includes various practical sessions and exercises. Theory learnt will be applied using our state-of-the-art simulators. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Water Treatment Process Operations, Process Upsets, Troubleshooting & Optimization, Water Wells, Transfer & Network Systems and Plant & Equipment Integrity. It covers the range of technologies used in water treatment; the principles of coagulation and flocculation and its fundamental concepts and application in water treatment; the techniques and best practices for effective sedimentation and filtration; the various disinfection methods and its effectiveness; the water treatment plant design considerations and the relevant environmental and safety regulations efficient for water treatment plants; the common process upsets and troubleshooting strategies to address and resolve process upsets; the simulation tools for process analysis and optimization, the data for effective process control and decision-making; and the maintenance strategies for process stability and cutting-edge technologies in water treatment.
